The project

Context
The project aims at developing a creative and functional use of digital resources and mobile devices in the teaching-learning process. It involves two primary target groups – teachers and students. The teachers will improve their digital competences related to mobile tools and web apps for education, by investigating the ways to deal with innovation in the partner countries. They will practise the use of the devices they learn about and they will be trained to apply them in their everyday teaching style.  The students who have the opportunity to participate in this project will gain many skills. Throughout the two years, they will develop their digital competences in the classroom and boost their self confidence while using devices. This will refresh their enthusiasm for learning by showing them that there are new and improved ways to learn different subjects. Also, participating in an exchange of this type will make them more open-minded towards other cultures. They will develop cooperation and communication skills in the English language. We aim to involve the parents of our students. They will support the school in organization of social and cultural activities.

AIMS
We will ensure that our project is carried out successfully by organizing and collaborating together. We will share responsibilities and tasks based on experience and resources. All the partners will frequently be in communication using different technology available, such as: e-mail, Hangouts video chat, Whatsapp, etc. Italy, the coordinator of the project, will organize the LTTA1 joint-staff preparing event, create a project Web site, compose the final report, and upload outcomes of the project on EPRP. Spain will manage the E-Twinning space. Poland will create the project magazine named “DIGIstories” and publish one issue after every important event. Romania will create an official Facebook account, and manage it throughout the duration of the project. Turkey will create an official Instagram account, and manage it throughout the duration of the project. Apart from the responsibilities mentioned above, each partner will organize and carry out their own short-term exchanges of groups of pupils. All the partners will ensure that all activities are implemented in the best way possible to achieve the goals of the project.

EXPETATION
This project is expected to have long-term benefits on all institutions that will participate.
Teachers and students will get involved in using applications and web tools in the learning and
teaching process, which will represent a benefit for the entire school, as they will become more
dynamic. Classes will become more intuitive and participants will turn out to be more stimulated and involved the educational
process. After the dissemination, more teachers are expected to be motivated to
use modern technologies in their classroom. Schools will be able to start new
partnerships with nearby institutions in this field. Online joint effort tools will be used later in order to exchange ideas concerning lessons and teaching
activities and to continue gaining new ideas from each other.
The results at European, national and local level will become resources for all those schools inspired
by this project.
All the schools involved in this project will find out about other Erasmus + activities from alternate
schools.
